I read a thread some time ago about a new light fixture (LED, I think) that was only 1" thick and would connect directly to the round ceiling box. A good alternative to can lights. If I remember correctly, Home Depot was mentioned as supplier. Sounds perfect for a place where I have 7' ceilings. Unfortunately, my local HD store hasn't heard of such a thing, but say since they are a small store in a small market, new items are often slow in coming. Can anyone supply any information about these lights? Anyone remember the thread?
