My small house has an addition that I believe was intended as a "sunroom." The roof is flat and, when punching a hole into the drywall ceiling, it's just a small space between celing and roof. There is no wiring in the ceiling. We now use this space as a dining room and currently have a swag lamp over the table, but I'm not particularly fond of the look. Short of tearing down the ceiling, is there any economical way to run wiring to that room? At the very least, I'd like to try to "thread" the pendant swag wiring through the ceiling to the nearest outlet - is this a possibility? I'm very frustrated with this problem.
