Firstly, the Enda McGuill Memorial Cup quater-final game against Wexford Youths has been put back by one week, and will now take place at the RSC on Saturday, March 3rd (KO 2.00pm). This change was made to facilite the investigation into the fielding of a suspended player by one of the other quarter-finallists in the previous round. Following this investigation Mervue United have been reinstated into the competition, and they now travel to Cork City the same weekend, the winners to face the Blues in the next round.
There will be a game at the RSC this Saturday, Feb 25th, though, as the re-fixed Salthill Devon League fixture will now be played at the Cork Road ground, kick-off again at 2.00pm.
