Make Or Break For Tottenham As Fixture List Heats Up | Latest ...

Guest post by Talk of the Lane

It is make or break for Spurs as the fixture list heats up and they fight to maintain their 7 point lead in 3rd place over their two London rivals Arsenal and Chelsea.

Spurs’ surprise league position and fading title ambitions will be tested to the extreme in March, as the fixtures gets very challenging and with absentees in Scott Parker and Gareth Bale who are suspended and injured respectively, can Redknapp’s men pick themselves after their embarrassing 5-2 loss to their north London rivals Arsenal?

Tottenham will take on last years champions Manchester United at the Lane, the reverse fixture saw United cruise to a comfortable 3-0 victory at Old Trafford. Spurs’ next premier league fixture will see them travel to Goodison Park to face Everton, which is not going to be an easy game, then back to the Lane to play the physical Stoke side which is once again not a certain three points. Their last game in March is against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge, this will be vital effecting the way the top four will pan out. If Spurs can beat Chelsea you would probably fancy them to finish in a champions league spot, but despite them being 7 points clear they are definitely not safe yet.

This will be a huge challenge for Spurs boss Harry Redknapp who has had to undergo tax evasion trials, being heavily linked with the England job and has to deal with the death of his horse Bygones in Brid.
