Will Clarke, who came up with a pass interception in the Gold-Blue game, is expected to be a leader in West Virginia’s new defensive scheme this fall.
The 6-foot-6, 270-pound junior from Pittsburgh, is a standout defensive end who started in 11 of 13 games in 2011.
Clarke, who was used sparingly with the Blue team’s 43-34 victory over the Gold-clad offense, was pleased to latch onto one of the three interceptions.
