The opening fixture of the Wednesday Society at Outlane was an easy decision for the organisers to call it off when the course was left covered in snow.
However the Captain Stuart Eastwood is hoping next Wednesdays fixture at Meltham (11th) is on to start his year then the following week (18th) a fixture at Woodsome Hall and then Longley Park (25th) will complete the months opening events.
The photo shows Outlane under six inches of snow when the Captain sent his wife, Sandra Eastwood, out to inspect the course to see if it was playable!
